The Ramat de Camins trail can be covered in its entirety or in stages; on foot or by mountain bike; with or without a donkey; sleeping in hostals or under canvas etc. However you tackle it, our job is to help you get the best out of the local scenery, cuisine, traditions and customs.
Eastern Ramat
The first major section of the Ramat de Camins! Setting off from the town of Pobla de Segur, known as the gateway to the Pyrenees, this section allows you to discover the Collegats gorge, an extensive part of the county of Pallars Sobirà and the Alt Pirineu Natural Park.
Northern Ramat
The second main section of the Ramat de Camins! From Àreu to the Ferrera valley, taking in the Cardós valley, the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, the Àneu valleys and the legendary Bonaigua mountian pass before reaching Val d’Aran.
Eastern Ramat with donkeys
Spend a week as a latter-day muleteer in the pleasant company of donkeys. Cross the legendary Collegats gorge and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park. Along the way you’ll discover the villages, landscapes and gastronomy found by Cela, Espinàs and Quera, enjoying the balance between traditions old and new.
Western Ramat
The third main section of the Ramat de Camins! This is a chance to discover Val d’Aran from one end to the other and, before crossing the Viehla and Gelada mountain passes, reach the spectacular Boi valley, following it through to its beginning.
Two days to get a taste for it
Come and be a latter-day muleteers, listen to the silence of forgotten villages and the sound of the river as you head downstream in a raft. All this on the Ramat de Camins trail!
